Your use of any of our preliminary assessment forms is conditional upon your acceptance of these express conditions of use. By using our form, you are deemed to have agreed to these conditions. If you do not agree, please do not submit our pre-assessment form.

The information that we gather in our pre-assessment forms is limited and does not replace the details required in the formal visa application. In all cases, we are assuming that you will pass the health and character tests.

We use our best efforts to ensure that in preparing our email advice on your preliminary assessment, it is correct as at the date of our letter.

However, subsequent changes to Australian Migration legislation before lodgment or during the processing of your visa application could adversely affect the outcome. Further information, evidence, recognition of qualification, registration, further or current work experience may also be required. For these reasons, our pre-assessment advice cannot be conclusive of your success.

It is your responsibility to complete the forms accurately and correctly. Our advice is by its very nature preliminary and indicative only. We do not accept responsibility or liability in respect of any errors, omissions, inaccuracies or misstatements. Our duty of care shall be due only after you have passed our pre-assessment, signed our Solicitor's Fee Agreement and we have received the required initial payment.

Our refund policy

Refunds will be given at the discretion of the law firm. We are happy to refund your pre-assessment application fee if we receive your email to cancel your pre-assessment order within 24 hours from payment, less 25% for administrative costs. However we will not refund a request made after that time.

Limits of our liability

Our total liability in relation to a pre-assessment process is limited to a refund of 50% of the fee you have paid for pre-assessment.
